Our work with Spec, a manufacturer of high-quality, thoughtfully engineered institutional furniture, started with what we call an “electronic rebrand”—beginning with their website.
Spec’s direction for the redesign was clear: take it to the next level.
We started by giving the site clean lines and a simple, straightforward look that belie the depth of work involved. We developed a Drupal-based content-management system that more efficiently organized their extensive array of products by application; if the Spec team uploads or updates visual assets to one area of the site, the rest of the site repopulates automatically, saving hours of time. The users of the site—from Spec’s sales teams to clients—enjoy a more efficient experience and increased functionality, such as the ability to put together “wish lists” of products.
We then extended our electronic rebranding work to bring Spec to life in the social media sphere, updating and streamlining their presence on Facebook and Twitter. We’ve created several motion-graphics videos for Spec’s YouTube channel, in which we animate the brand’s friendly, approachable personality.
Whether it’s through online ads, web banners, contest collateral or brochures, Spec is always challenging us to find new and inventive ways to keep their brand top of mind—a relationship that is, in a word, Spec-tacular.
