From a culture, health and business standpoint, the legalization of marijuana was undoubtedly the biggest story in Canada in 2018.
While the majority of Canadian cannabis brands rushed to get their recreational products to market, a handful of others were wisely hitching their wagons to a different horse. Medical cannabis formulations represent a way to decommoditize the crop, adding value at the same time as they address unmet needs.
Based in Canada and Israel, PlantEXT is focused on cannabis’s anti-inflammatory properties.
Our agency developed key messages and a product naming system. The visual identity included a custom wordmark, as well as an icon that alludes to the shape of the carbon ring found in the products’ active ingredient, with an arrow to indicate the extraction of the active components. Applications included stationery, presentations, brochure, tradeshow booth and materials, packaging prototypes, and a website.
