For nine years (until the company was acquired), we were RSA Insurance’s marketing agency of record. During that time, we produced hundreds of materials, from buckslips and brochures to websites, presentations and promotions.

To be successful, RSA needed the support and confidence of its broker partners, who make recommendations to their customers about insurance products. Our work was to continually position the brand as the best coast-to-coast insurer in Canada—one that behaved differently from the rest of the industry.

We created identities for a variety of sub-brands, such as new products, education programs and digital tools.

We developed several comprehensive advertising campaigns that crossed the lines of the company’s business: personal, commercial and large specialty insurance.

Our aim was always to differentiate RSA from its competitors by avoiding the typical, abstract language and imagery common to the industry, creating a stronger, bolder narrative around the benefits of working with the right insurance partner.

Over the years, our work on RSA’s broker campaigns helped them win dozens of International Business Awards and MarCom awards.
